Downeast Dayboat is thrilled to be collaborating with Luke’s Lobster again to bring the very best scallops in the world to New York City at a special price. Alex Todd (Fishing Vessel Jacob and Joshua) will be fishing on Monday and I want to bring ALL of his catch to New York City so I’m offering these scallops for $30 per pound (usually $38).

Be sure to take advantage of this last-of-the-Maine-state-season opportunity: fill your freezers to tide you over ’til December.  To make it easy, each pound ordered comes in a one-pound freezer bag – simply pop your extras in the freezer. Togue will be at the Midtown East shack between 5:00 and 7:00 pm: please note this is the ONLY times the scallops will be available for pick-up. Because this is a pre-order only event, orders cannot be canceled once placed.

More about Luke’s: a vision of Maine native and one-time lobsterman Luke Holden (above, left, with co-founder Ben Conniff), Luke’s Lobster opened its first shack in 2009 in the heart of New York’s East Village and now serves delicious Maine seafood in shacks across the country and across the world. Like Downeast Dayboat, Luke’s is deeply devoted to Maine’s fishing industry and communities and handles every step of the supply chain to ensure that only exceptionally fresh seafood is served in their shacks.

Simply order online through the link below and you’ll be able to pick up your delectable Maine scallops from Togue in person on Wednesday, March 27th from 5:00 to 7:00. And, while you’re there make sure to treat yourself to their incredible Rolls. Togue’s lobsterman father was hard to please when it comes to lobster rolls, and he said Luke’s are “top notch elegant”.
